The customer service is horrible! I would avoid this company like the the plague.
They only want your money and dont care if they provide a service. For some reason the application didnt work on my android device, so I was never able to use the software. I was charged for add-ons that I didnt even understand. I was surprised to see that I was charged $300 total for unknown services that I may accidentally agreed to during sign on; Noom is very sales driven and during installation I was repeatedly prompted for additional services and longer term plans that I never intended to sign up for and only found out a month later after reviewing my credit card bill.
I called customer service in hopes of getting a refund Or a partial refund.
I waited a half hour to speak with a customer service representative with a heavy foreign accent. I kept trying to explain that I was charged $300 for a service that I was never able to use.
I encouraged him to check by usage history to confirm. The rude customer service representative kept talking over me to explain, in a very long winded way, that my 2 week grace period expired, and he didnt care whether I ever used the application.

Keep any and all communication you have with them. I was NOT given any consideration for my many issues.

Challenging Experience with Noom's Auto-Renewal and Refund Process
I encountered a significant issue with Noom when my account was auto-renewed on 12/22/23 for ~$200. I only realized this upon receiving my credit card statement on 1/13/24 and immediately contacted Noom to cancel and request a refund.
The customer service experience was disappointing.
Initially, the representative and supervisor adhered strictly to the policy of no refunds post auto-renewal, offering only a credit for future use. My request to escalate the matter was met with a directive to email support, but the provided link was unhelpful.
Taking a different approach, I reached out directly to the CEO at ceo@***.com and reiterated my situation. This finally led to a response from a Noom support member, who acknowledged the service shortfalls and processed a full refund for my account.
While I appreciate the eventual resolution the process was far from straightforward. The initial refusal and repetitive responses were frustrating, and it took an excessive amount of persistence and escalation to achieve a satisfactory outcome.
