SCAM AUTOMATED RENEWALS WITHOUT PERMISSION

Subscription that will renew every 3 months for over $150. It is about time Congress pretend nothing is going on. I did not like Noon, I deleted the app and did not know I was paying. People are dishonest. FTC, CFPB, DCPs, Congress need to do more. It is always almost impossible to find where to cancel.

Couldn’t use software. Denied refund after 2 week grace period. Customer representative didn’t care that I never accessed their software.

The customer service is horrible! I would avoid this company like the the plague.

They only want your money and dont care if they provide a service. For some reason the application didnt work on my android device, so I was never able to use the software. I was charged for add-ons that I didnt even understand. I was surprised to see that I was charged $300 total for unknown services that I may accidentally agreed to during sign on; Noom is very sales driven and during installation I was repeatedly prompted for additional services and longer term plans that I never intended to sign up for and only found out a month later after reviewing my credit card bill.

I called customer service in hopes of getting a refund Or a partial refund.

I waited a half hour to speak with a customer service representative with a heavy foreign accent. I kept trying to explain that I was charged $300 for a service that I was never able to use.

I encouraged him to check by usage history to confirm. The rude customer service representative kept talking over me to explain, in a very long winded way, that my 2 week grace period expired, and he didnt care whether I ever used the application.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Calling and calling and calling!

Keep any and all communication you have with them. I was NOT given any consideration for my many issues.

Have used Noom last year and was very happy, lost over 60 Lbs. wanted to loose more so I re-joined. I have be charged 2x@***.00, was canceled because I refused the double charge.called again and was told to register again, was charged $167.20. Did not have access to the full program and called again! Was told they dont have an account for me after using a different credit card And cant get customer service to figure it out! Im out $167.20 and only got aggravated! Please help me!

I have had trouble since the beginning because in signing up I ended up doing it twice with two different addresses. Up until the past every time. I called customer service, I got swift answers. This time I was asked for the last six digits of the card I used. I was in the middle of changing desks and couldn't remember which pile it was in. Surely there could have been another way of verifying that you were speaking to me. I keep on getting advertisements for new plans, which is irritating. I got to my card the next day. Thanks to you I didn't have to wait.

There was a lot of reading and the font size was too small. There was no way of adjusting the size. Yes there were audio files for some but then you were not able to progress to more information because of the locks on the food. And then I was not able to reach someone who could help me with that.

Challenging Experience with Noom's Auto-Renewal and Refund Process

I encountered a significant issue with Noom when my account was auto-renewed on 12/22/23 for ~$200. I only realized this upon receiving my credit card statement on 1/13/24 and immediately contacted Noom to cancel and request a refund.

The customer service experience was disappointing.

Initially, the representative and supervisor adhered strictly to the policy of no refunds post auto-renewal, offering only a credit for future use. My request to escalate the matter was met with a directive to email support, but the provided link was unhelpful.

Taking a different approach, I reached out directly to the CEO at ceo@***.com and reiterated my situation. This finally led to a response from a Noom support member, who acknowledged the service shortfalls and processed a full refund for my account.

While I appreciate the eventual resolution the process was far from straightforward. The initial refusal and repetitive responses were frustrating, and it took an excessive amount of persistence and escalation to achieve a satisfactory outcome.

Most people would have given up...

I have been trying to get a hold of someone. Ive been on the phone for an hour and a half on hold. Then I go over and e to get on with a live agent, and she clicks me off. I tried to go the other way, and I was going in circles for the last 2 1/2 hours, and I gave up. I think Ive deleted everything, but Im not sure, my credit card keeps coming up, and I dont know why I should not owe anything and if Im afraid that Noom is going to charge me for something, thats why Im trying to get a hold of someone
